Happy New Year

Well I’ve come here about a hundred times and tried to write about my wonderful Christmas and all the fun and joy I’ve been having with my kids, but each time I start something seems to catch my attention and *poof* I’m off living my life and loving it!

I’ll just sum up my Christmas with the simple statement that I’m having a wonderful time with my kids as long as they aren’t being moody and acting like teens.  Everyone seemed to enjoy their Christmas gifts, Sean got an IPod, Ceilidh got a camera and Dev got a zillion toys.
I’ve been an idiot and lost more than a few of my favorite reads due to my negligence and not backing up my list of favorite blogs to read.  If your blog/diary was listed on the right there and it’s not there now, please remind me of your address so I can read you.  Crikey!
And now it’s New Year’s Eve, and I hope that every one’s got plans to bring in the new year with loved ones and I hope that your evening is everything that you hoped for.
Everybody join hands and sing:

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne,
We’ll tak a cup of kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!
And surely ye’ll be your pint-stowp,
And surely I’ll be mine,
And we’ll tak a cup o kindness yet,
For auld lang syne!
We twa hae run about the braes,
And pou’d the gowans fine,
But we’ve wander’d monie a weary fit,
Sin auld lang syne.
We twa hae paidl’d in the burn
Frae morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roar’d
Sin auld lang syne.
And there’s a hand my trusty fiere,
And gie’s a hand o thine,
And we’ll tak a right guid-willie waught,
For auld lang syne
