Confusion at the Job Centre

So I made an appointment to meet with my employment counselor today at 3. I arrive at the centre, sign in and take a seat after informing the receptionist that I was here for an appointment and who it was with. The receptionist gave me a look which said ‘big whoop’ and went on with her very important job of watching a video over the internet of a dog playing with what sounded like a dildo. Judging by the giggles and comments from the two women working the front desk it must have been what was going on.
So I take a seat, nobody tells my worker I’m here and she pretty much ignores me for the first 25 minutes.
She finally clicks that I’m here for our scheduled appointment and quickly ushers me into one of the rooms, closes the door and begins to inspire confidence by arguing with me about the self-employment seminar she sent me on.
I need $4442 in start up cash and or equity, I can’t run a home business from my home. She keeps telling me to apply for a position at the company that just terminated me.
She does not instill confidence that she actually will be able to help me out. Plus she keeps calling me Kim!
I am frustrated with people.

You can’t help but wonder why those people have jobs and you don’t.
