Fluffy Flakes are Forbidden from Falling

As I sit here typing this up there are big fluffy snowflakes falling from the sky. Actually falling suggests that the snow is following a rapid and direct course towards the earth, but that isn’t so. It’s actually drifting in a lackadaisical fashion, and it’s very pretty. I love that when it’s snowing everything falls quiet. There are no birds chirping, even the mechanical sounds of the neighbourhood have fallen silent. It would be picturesque, except for the whole being in the city thing.

The only thing that isn’t quiet right now, is Frigga. Now, this is not her first snow, I have a video of her playing in her first snow but that snow was much different. It had smaller flakes and fell in a quick, direct course towards the earth. It was very slippery and she was hilarious when she was playing in it.

This video was from a week ago, it’s of Frigga playing in her first snowfall. I don’t know if I can actually call it her first snow, since it didn’t accumulate much and didn’t stick around for very long. As soon as we get some white stuff that sticks around and isn’t the depth of a piece of paper, then I’ll video that. That will be her ‘first snowfall’
For those who are curious, she moves at that pace all.the.time! She has 2 speeds, asleep and go, go, go! Full Speed Ahead!! It drives me insane!!

Now, today Frigga is experiencing a different, prettier and fluffier snow and she is now losing her mind over it. She barked a bit at the first snow of the season, but today these evil, fluffy snowflakes need to be driven off. So our pretty little pup is barking, and barking and barking some more. Frigga is losing her mind that the stupid snow is not respecting her authority and that it  insists on still falling into her backyard, without her permission even!

The first 4 times that she stood barking at the snowflakes were kind of adorable but now that we’re on to the 20th or so time, it’s less adorable and more breaking my brain. Oh, and the most fun part of this whole thing? When Frigga barks Mal and Wicket come running and join in, even though they don’t even know what they are barking at.
Wicket, well he’s kind of scrambled in the brains so I am not surprised by this action what so ever, but Mal?? I expect more out of my old fellow!
